Code of Conduct & Ethics

 

These are our standards of conduct and ethics. You as a parent and player are required to maintain these standards at all times and for the remainder of time that your player is on a roster within the organization. Every member of the organization shall respect these standards. A player, coach, manager, parent, or any other persons affiliated with the organization shall not violate any of the following standards or be subject to punishment up to and including immediate removal from the organization without compensation.

 

  • Sportsmanship shall be maintained at a high level at all times, on the playing and off

     

  • There shall be no verbal or physical threat to anybody

     

  • There shall be no destruction of property or violation of Local, State, or Federal law

     

  • Parents or guardians shall maintain a current clean balance and pay any and all debts to the organization and if leaving shall clear any all payable debts

     

  • All players must be registered with the organization in order to be covered by the organization and it’s insurance policy

     

  • No one shall use the organization’s name or likeness unless granted specific permission to use from the Board of Directors

     

  • All images, physical and digital, taken or created by the organization of players, coaches, or any other individuals associated with the organization while being involved or at an event affiliated with the organization or in a public place or a public activity will belong to the organization and you waive any and all rights to those images

     

  • Players will not play while listed as ineligible or the player, team, and or coach will be subject to punishment by the organization up to immediate removal

     

  • At no time shall any player, coach, or manager be allowed to drink alcoholic beverages or smoke on the field, inside, or outside of the dugout

     

  • Any issues or communications should move up the chain of command and be addressed specifically and calmly to the Coach or Coaches involved, before contacting a Board Member

     

  • There is a 24-Hour cool down period, where parents must wait 24 hours after the last game of a day before addressing any issues or concerns. Any instances of approaching coaches about game issues during or immediately after a game will not be tolerated and swift action will follow if this zero tolerance rule is broken

     

  • This is not recreation softball and all playtime is up to the coaches discretion as is the roster and you realize that a player can be cut/removed at anytime for any reason by the Head Coach or the Board of Directors, no questions asked

     

  • If a player is listed on the official organization roster than they are expected to pay every monthly member fee, no exception for time missed due to injury, break, dark period, or any other reason

     

  • If a player is listed on the official organization roster than they are expected to pay for every team event with no exception for illness, injury, circumstance, emergency, or any other reason

     

  • Coaches shall put the welfare of their athletes above all else while maintaining professional relationships with them

     

  • Coaches shall follow all rules

     

  • Coaches will treat players with dignity and respect at all times

     

  • Coaches shall behave in such a way that they shall bring credit to their organization and to themselves

     

  • All umpires and coaches shall be treated in a professional and respectable manner both on and off the field

     

  • Any displeasure with a coach or umpire’s action or conduct shall be addressed through the proper channels and not through the media or through public opinion

     

  • Ineligible lists come out weekly and I understand that failure to pay my organization fees could result in my player being ineligible to play games and if I am critically ineligible that my player cannot practice

     

  • I as a parent and/or coach understand that I will make every effort to attend and participate in any organization functions and I will not schedule things that overlap with organization duties, events, functions, etc. Exceptions can be made by asking permission from the Board of Directors if there is a big event (example: World Series, Nationals, etc.) overlapping

     

  • It is my responsibility to make sure that my player dues and fees are current and I am making every effort to pay on time. I also understand that the organization is available for help and is flexible, understanding and doing their best to keep players happy and on the field

     

  • I will always try and remember that the Coaches, Board of Directors, and the organization is on my side, wants the best for my player, and is trying their absolute hardest to make sure that my player is developing and remains happy

     

  • I will not let my emotions get the best of me. I realize that this is a game, youth softball from ages 5-18, is for my child and their happiness should be my priority

     

  • I understand that this document once I acknowledge that I have read these standards that they never expire as long as I am with the organization and carry over year to year and I agree to adhere to them even if I have left the organization and returned

 

Non-Compliance Penalty: Violation of any of the above may result in suspension or disqualification.
